The edge of the coin features the inscription ".EUROPE EUROPA. N. IRELAND", interspersed with a small flower motif. On the reverse, a beautifully rendered female harpist and a shamrock are depicted, with "TWENTY FIVE ECU 25 1992" inscribed around the circumference, further adorned by two smaller shamrocks.
